the halls is a web series created by start strong at the boston public health commission, division of violence prevention. this narrative series spotlights real-life conversations and challenges faced by young people in boston.

DESCRIPTION
episode 4 examines how teens manage new responsibilities, build trust, and challenge traditional ideas about gender, relationships, and family.

the episode highlights everyday struggles: balancing school and family, negotiating roles at home, and figuring out how to support peers through tough situations. real talk about trust, responsibility, and communication encourages viewers to reflect on personal choices and boundaries within their own lives. facilitators are encouraged to use these stories to spark discussion, build empathy, and connect participants to helpful resources.
